If you carry The Platinum Card® from American Express (See Rates & Fees), two quarterly credits reset on October 1: up to $100 at Resy restaurants and up to $75 at lululemon. Whatever you have not used by September 30 is gone for good.
That is up to $175 on the table this week. Here is how to make sure each credit actually triggers.
How Much Is Left, and When Does It Expire?
- Resy credit: up to $100 back per quarter, up to $400 per calendar year.
- lululemon credit: up to $75 back per quarter, up to $300 per calendar year.
- Q3 window: July 1 through September 30. Q4 starts fresh on October 1.
Both credits require enrollment in your American Express account or app. Enroll before you spend, since purchases made before enrolling may not count. Statement credits can take up to 8 weeks to post, so a missing credit this week does not mean it failed.

How to Use the Amex Platinum Resy Credit Before September 30
The credit applies to eligible purchases at participating U.S. restaurants on Resy, and you do not need to book through Resy for it to count. Paying your bill with your Platinum Card at a qualifying restaurant is what triggers it.
Find a Qualifying Restaurant
Open the Resy app or Resy.com and browse restaurants near you. Amex says the credit works at more than 10,000 U.S. Resy restaurants, but not every restaurant is part of the program, so confirm the spot is listed on Resy before you go.
What Does Not Count
- Gift cards bought at the restaurant
- Resy-branded gift cards
- Merchandise and restaurant software purchases
Tips for the Last Weekend
- Book tonight or tomorrow. Popular Resy restaurants fill up fast on the last weekend of a quarter.
- Put the whole bill on your Platinum. Splitting the check means only your portion counts toward the $100.
- Check the transaction date. The charge needs to post in Q3. A dinner on the night of September 30 at a restaurant that batches payments late could land in October.

How to Use the Amex Platinum lululemon Credit Before September 30
The credit covers eligible purchases at lululemon stores in the U.S., on shop.lululemon.com, or in the lululemon app. The credit is capped at $75 per quarter, so anything you spend above that is on you.
Where It Does Not Work
- lululemon outlets, warehouse sales, showrooms, and event locations
- lululemon Studio and Like New resale
- Orders shipped outside the U.S.
Can You Use the lululemon Credit on a Gift Card?
You may see people online say they triggered the credit by buying a lululemon gift card. lululemon's own terms say the credit is not valid on gift card purchases. Even if a credit posts, Amex can reverse credits it later finds ineligible, so we would not count on this.
A safer move is to buy something you will actually use for close to $75. Socks, belt bags, hats, and water bottles make it easy to land near the cap without going far over.
Watch Out for Returns
If you return an item after the credit posts, Amex can take the credit back. Buy something you plan to keep.

What Else on the Amex Platinum Ends September 30?

With an $895 annual fee (See Rates & Fees), the quarterly credits are a big part of what makes the card pay for itself. Missing one quarter of Resy and lululemon means $175 you cannot get back.

Do Amex Platinum Resy credits roll over?
No. Unused Resy credit expires at the end of each quarter. Your Q3 credit ends September 30, and a new $100 becomes available October 1.
