Chase Paze: Earn 10x Points on Sapphire and Freedom Cards (2026 Guide)
July 1, 2025

Chase cardholders have a new limited-time way to stack rewards: an additional 10 points per dollar spent when checking out with Paze. If you have a Chase Sapphire or Freedom card, here's what you need to know before the promotion ends.
What Is Paze?
Paze is a digital wallet checkout service, similar to PayPal and Apple Pay, that lets you pay at select online merchants using a saved credit or debit card. It's accepted at a growing list of participating retailers and stores your card details securely at checkout.
On its own, Paze doesn't offer much over other digital wallets. The Chase promotion is what makes it worth using right now.
The Chase Paze Bonus: 10 Extra Points Per Dollar
Through December 31, 2026, eligible Chase cardholders earn an additional 10 points per dollar when using Paze at participating merchants, on up to $1,500 per month per card. These bonus points stack on top of whatever base or category rewards your card already earns.
For example, if you book a United Airlines flight through Paze using the Chase Sapphire Preferred, you'd earn:
- 10x additional points from Paze
- 2x points on travel (booked outside Chase Travel℠)
- Total: 12x points per dollar
That's a lot of points for a single purchase.

The bonus applies to these Chase consumer cards:
- Chase Sapphire Reserve®
- Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card
- Chase Freedom Flex®
- Chase Freedom Unlimited®
- Chase Freedom (no longer open to new applicants)
Not eligible: Co-branded Chase cards (e.g., United℠ Explorer Card, Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card) and business cards like the Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ are not included.
Where Can You Use Paze?
Paze is currently accepted at these merchants:
- 1-800-Flowers
- Banter
- Broadway.com
- City Experiences
- Domino's
- Dunkin' Donuts
- Fanatics
- GNC
- Harry & David
- Jared
- Kay Jewelers
- Newegg
- Omaha Steaks
- PayRange
- Personalization Mall
- Pet Supermarket
- Roku
- Sephora
- ShopRite
- Teleflora
- United Airlines (best option for stacking travel rewards)
- USA Today
- Whataburger
- Xsolla
- Zales
The full merchant list is available at paze.com. The selection is narrower than other digital wallets, but even a few qualifying purchases add up quickly given the bonus rate.
Tip: Newegg sells gift cards for brands like Southwest Airlines and Uber Eats, which means you can earn 10x on those purchases even if those merchants aren't directly on the Paze list. Cardholders have also confirmed Paze working at StubHub, which isn't on the official merchant directory but appears to support it at checkout.
Do You Need to Activate Anything?
No activation is required to earn the bonus points. The benefit should already appear in your card's benefits list. Select Paze at checkout, complete your purchase, and the additional points will post automatically.
Bonus points can take up to 8 weeks to post after a qualifying purchase. If they haven't appeared after that window, contact Chase directly.
How to Set Up Paze in the Chase Mobile App
If you haven't linked your Chase card to Paze yet:
- Sign into the Chase Mobile app for iOS or Android and select a credit card account
- Tap Manage account, then Digital Wallets
- Select Paze from the available digital wallets
- Choose the card you want to add
- Tap Activate Paze to complete setup on the Paze site
- Agree to Paze's terms and conditions
To check out with Paze: select it as your payment method, verify your identity with a one-time code, choose your card, and confirm your purchase.
Chase may also send you an email with the subject line "Your Chase card is available to use with Paze" when your card becomes eligible. If you get that email, you can activate directly from the link inside or follow the steps above in the Chase Mobile app.
You can also sign up on the web at mywallet.paze.com.
Known Issue: "No Eligible Cards" Error
Some cardholders have reported a "no eligible cards" message when trying to link their Chase card to Paze. Chase customer support has acknowledged the issue and as of late May 2026 has not given an ETA for a fix. Some users have resolved it after 10-14 days, so if you run into this, keep checking back.
Is It Worth It?
If you have one of the eligible cards and regularly shop at any of the participating merchants, the math works out well. The 10x bonus stacks with your existing category multipliers, so you can rack up Ultimate Rewards points at a rate that's usually reserved for sign-up bonuses.
The $1,500/month cap applies per card, not per account. If you hold multiple eligible cards, you can run up to $1,500 through each one every month, for a combined cap of $4,500/month and up to 45,000 additional points.
Double Dip with Kudos Boost at Paze Merchants
You can stack even more rewards at several Paze merchants that are also active Kudos Boost merchants. That means you're earning the Chase 10x Paze bonus, your card's base rewards, and Kudos Boost cashback all on the same purchase.
As of May 2026, the following merchants appear in both the Paze directory and Kudos Boost:
- 1-800-Flowers
- Fanatics
- GNC
- Harry & David
- Jared
- Kay Jewelers
- Newegg
- Omaha Steaks
- Personalization Mall
- Pet Supermarket
- Sephora
- Teleflora

Bottom Line
The Chase Paze promotion runs through December 31, 2026. If United flights, Sephora orders, or any of the other participating merchants are already in your spending plans, selecting Paze at checkout is a simple way to get a lot more out of those purchases.
Use Kudos to make sure you're always using the right card at checkout, including when Paze is in play.

Paze FAQ
Do I need to download an app or create an account to use Paze?
No. Paze syncs automatically to the email address and phone number tied to your existing bank and credit card accounts. There's no new app, username, or password required.
Is Paze safe to use?
Paze doesn't share your actual card number with merchants. Instead, it replaces your card data with a token,. a unique string of characters used just for that transaction. If your card is lost or stolen, Paze updates your payment information automatically when your replacement card is issued, so you don't need to update anything manually.
Can I use Paze in stores?
No. Paze is only for online purchases at participating merchants. It can't be added to a digital wallet and isn't available for in-store or peer-to-peer payments.
Which banks participate in Paze?
Paze was created by a group of seven major U.S. financial institutions: Chase, Bank of America, Capital One, PNC, Truist, U.S. Bank, and Wells Fargo. You need an eligible account at one of the participating banks or credit unions to use Paze.
Are business or premium cards eligible?
No. Only consumer cards are eligible. Chase business credit cards, Private Bank cards, Chase Private Client Privileges cards, authorized user credit cards, and joint checking debit cards are all excluded.
Will I still earn my regular card rewards when using Paze?
Yes. Using Paze is treated the same as swiping your physical card. Your base rewards and any bonus category earnings still apply, and the Chase 10x Paze bonus stacks on top of those.
How do I opt out of Paze?
You can remove individual cards through the Chase Mobile app or Chase Online. To opt out entirely, you can do so through mywallet.paze.com or by contacting Chase directly at 1-800-939-9935.
