Our AI will say it's the account holder when talking to merchants. Otherwise, most companies won't process the cancellation.
Typical Timeframes
Web-based cancellations typically take seconds to minutes to complete. Our AI agents log into merchant portals and process cancellations immediately, just like you would, but without the hassle. Some merchants may require a billing cycle to fully process, but the cancellation request itself is instant.

What to Expect (And What We Can't Guarantee)
Kudos subscription cancellation is powerful, but there are important limitations to understand:
- Initial launch is web-based only: This launch covers subscriptions that can be canceled through merchant websites, email, or chat. Services requiring phone calls (like many gym memberships) will be supported in a future update.
- Success depends on merchant cooperation: We can't force merchants to cancel subscriptions. Some merchants refuse to work with third-party services or AI agents, require in-person cancellation, or have complex verification requirements that our agents can't navigate.
- You may continue to be charged: Until the merchant confirms cancellation, charges may still process. Always verify cancellation directly with each merchant and monitor your statements.
- Some subscriptions aren't supported: The service doesn't currently support subscriptions requiring phone-based cancellation, in-person cancellation, financial products (loans, credit cards, investment accounts), insurance policies, utilities, or merchants that explicitly refuse AI interactions.
- Refunds must be handled separately: Kudos processes cancellation requests only. If you need a refund for past charges, you'll need to contact the merchant directly.
- Verification is still your responsibility: While Kudos handles the cancellation process, you should verify completion with each merchant and confirm charges have stopped.
