How to Stack Your Chase Sapphire Reserve StubHub Credit for Maximum Value

The Chase Sapphire Reserve® comes with a $300 annual StubHub credit, but right now there’s a promotion that lets you stack on top of it to earn extra cash back and points on the same purchase. Here's how it works.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve® StubHub Credit
Sapphire Reserve cardholders get up to $150 back on StubHub and viagogo purchases from January through June, and another $150 from July through December, for a total of $300 per year. The credit applies to concerts, sporting events, theater, comedy shows, and more through December 31, 2027.
Before making a purchase, you'll need to activate the benefit by logging into your Chase account and heading to the benefits section for your Sapphire Reserve.

Why Right Now Is a Good Time to Use It
Two ways to stack on top of the existing credit:
1. 10x points through Paze
Chase recently added a bonus for Sapphire and Freedom cardholders: earn an additional 10x Ultimate Rewards points when paying through Paze at select merchants through the end of the year. StubHub is one of those merchants.
To use Paze at StubHub checkout, you'll need to link your Chase card to Paze first. In the Chase mobile app, go to "Manage account" under your card, then find "Add card to digital wallets" under "Card setup and maintenance." On desktop, it's under More > Account services > Manage digital wallets. Your StubHub and Chase accounts also need to use the same email address for Paze to work at checkout.
2. 8% cash back through Kudos Boost
Kudos is currently offering 8% cash back on StubHub purchases through the Kudos Boost rewards program. Boost works on top of your existing card rewards, so you're earning cash back and card points on the same transaction.

What This Looks Like in Practice
Say you buy two concert tickets for $212 on StubHub:
- $150 statement credit brings your out-of-pocket cost down to $62
- 10x points through Paze earns you roughly 2,300 Chase Ultimate Rewards points (worth at least $23.00 at $0.01 per point, and up to $46.00 at $0.02 per point when redeeming through Chase Travel or transfer partners)
- 8% Kudos Boost earns you $16.96 cash back on the $212 purchase
Total unlocked: $189.96 in value ($150 credit + $23 in points + $16.96 Kudos cash back) on a $212 purchase, paying just $62 out of pocket.
Chase points can be worth up to 2 cents each when booking through Chase Travel with a Points Boost offer, or potentially more through transfer partners.

Don't Have the Sapphire Reserve?
Even without the StubHub credit, Freedom and Sapphire Preferred cardholders can still earn the 10x Paze bonus on StubHub purchases, and anyone can stack Kudos Boost on top of their card rewards. You just won't get the statement credit offset.
