‍What is Kudos Boost?

‍Kudos Boost is an awesome new way for you to multiply your savings while shopping online on your computer, iPhone, or iPad. When you shop at participating stores with Kudos, we’ll match your credit card rewards with one click. So, if you’re already earning 3%, we’ll double it to 6% when you activate Boost!

Where can I get Kudos Boost? 

When you shop on one of our store partners' sites, you’ll see an option to Activate Boost in the bottom right corner when you click the Kudos icon. Click the blue button to Activate Boost, shop like you normally do, and we’ll see you again at checkout.

At the store checkout page, we’ll prompt you to link an existing card in your Kudos wallet or add a new one. If you already have a card saved with your credit card numbers, we’ll automatically autofill it for you.

If you haven’t put in your card numbers yet, you can do that here and then we’ll pop them into the payment field for your convenience. In order to receive a Kudos Boost to your rewards, you need to add your card information to Kudos so that we can verify that the card we are using for Kudos Boost is the same card you used to complete the purchase. 

Your Kudos Boost savings show as pending (typically for 60-90 days) while our merchant partner confirms your order. If part or all of your purchase is ineligible, or if you decide to return part or all of your purchase and receive a refund, your Kudos Boost amount will be reduced based on the new subtotal. Keep in mind: Kudos Boost savings are calculated on the subtotal of eligible items and do not include tax or additional fees like shipping.

Where is Boost available? 

Kudos Boost works on over 15,000 sites and we’re expanding to more every day! 

Check out the list of Boost merchants (note: merchants change frequently, so check back often to ensure you're earning the most Boost on purchases you would've made anyway).

What if I use other rewards programs as well?

We want to ensure you earn your Kudos Boost on every eligible purchase! When you use multiple rewards programs online, only one rewards program gets credit for helping drive the sale. We don’t have a way of knowing which company will receive credit for your transaction in that scenario. Once a purchase is credited to us, we’re unable to retroactively attribute the purchase to another rewards program.

If you click to activate Kudos Boost but then activate another program afterward, we won’t receive an affiliate commission to share with you.

Can I use an ad blocker with Kudos? 

Yes, but don't forget to add Kudos to your ad blocker’s allowlist. Certain web browers, like Brave and DuckDuckGo, have ad blocking enabled. Make sure to disable it first. Doing so will ensure that we will receive credit for the sale, which means you will too!

What if my card is ineligible for Boost? 

When you shop online with our merchant partners and activate Boost, most credit cards will be eligible to earn additional rewards. If your card is ineligible, we’ll let you know before you check out and recommend another card in your wallet so you don’t lose out on Kudos Boost rewards. 

What do the different Boost statuses mean? 

As the saying goes, sharing is caring! When you share Kudos Boost with your friends and family, you’ll have even more opportunities to maximize your rewards. When you share Kudos, we’ll boost your status. You can refer friends from the Earn Boost page.

Here is a rundown of our statuses:

Gold

We’ll start you out with a three-month trial of Gold status, giving you a 100% Boost at all participating merchants. In order to keep your Gold status, you just need to refer 3 friends to Kudos per quarter. They must make a qualifying purchase and use our autofill feature to be considered a successful referral. 

Bronze

‍

‍

If you use Kudos Boost but don’t refer three friends per quarter, you will still maintain Bronze status but won’t get a 100% Boost on all participating merchants. You can easily bump yourself back up to Gold status by referring three friends per quarter.

What is my Rewards History? 

Your Rewards History shows all of your transactions where you’ve earned rewards from your credit cards and from using Kudos Boost. You can view your transaction history by last 30 days, last 90 days, or by year by clicking the dropdown under Filter.

You can click on specific purchases to see a breakdown of rewards.

Here’s a breakdown of the different statuses for your purchases: 

‍

• Completed - you’ve made a purchase and our merchant partner has confirmed your order. This typically takes X number of days

• Pending - your purchase is waiting to be verified and confirmed by our merchant partner after the purchase has been made

• Ineligible - your purchase did not earn Kudos Boost. There are a few reasons why this happens:

• The merchant is not one of our partners
• You did not activate Kudos Boost  
• You activated Kudos Boost but then clicked away from the store or activated another browser extension before you made the purchase, meaning it was not attributed to us
• An item or all items from the purchase were returned

How do I redeem my Kudos Boost points?

Once you’ve accrued 1,000 Kudos Boost points (the equivalent of $10.00 USD), you can redeem them for an Amazon.com gift card. This redemption feature is only available in the US for now.

Do Kudos Boost points expire?

As long as you keep your Kudos account active by using our browser extension or mobile app once during a consecutive 12-month period, your Kudos Boost points will not expire.
