New Chase Sapphire Lounge Opens at DFW Airport (2026)
July 1, 2025

Chase just opened its ninth Sapphire Lounge in the U.S., and this one landed in one of the country's busiest airports: Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW). The new space leans into local flavor in a way that sets it apart from Chase's earlier locations, and it puts Chase Sapphire Reserve® cardholders right in the middle of an increasingly competitive lounge scene at DFW.
Here's what's inside, how it compares to the airport's other premium lounges, and how to get in if you're passing through Terminal D.
What's New at DFW
The lounge spans a sizable footprint in Terminal D near Gate D25, laid out as one long corridor broken into distinct zones for relaxation, dining, and wellness. It keeps the design elements that have become familiar across Chase's Sapphire Lounge network — light wood flooring, a central bar, and a signature burger on the menu — while adding details unique to this location.

Local Touches That Set This Lounge Apart
The standout feature is a dedicated whiskey bar tucked behind the main bar area, featuring a barrel selection exclusive to Chase and a seating area with screens for watching sports, a nod to the region's sports culture. Local artistry shows up throughout the space as well, including handcrafted wall treatments from a Dallas-based artist. The dining program leans local too, with a menu built in partnership with a Bishop Arts District restaurant known for Southern-inspired dishes.
Wellness and Family-Friendly Extras
Beyond the bar and dining areas, the lounge includes a dedicated wellness zone with treatment rooms for quick facials, relaxation pods, and a shower suite, plus on-demand stretching and meditation content available on travelers' own devices. There's also a family-oriented area with games, a nursing room, and semiprivate seating for travelers who want a quieter corner to wait in.
Who Can Get In
Access works the same way it does at Chase's other Sapphire Lounge locations: Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders can enter and typically bring a couple of guests along at no charge, which Chase notes is a more generous guest policy than what's offered by some competing premium cards.
DFW's Growing Lounge Rivalry
DFW has quickly become a crowded field for premium lounge access. Within a short walk of the new Sapphire Lounge, American Express operates a Centurion Lounge (currently being expanded) and Capital One runs a lounge reserved for Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card cardholders. Chase's new space is the largest of the three by square footage, though each lounge takes a different approach to setting itself apart — in Chase's case, through its local dining and bar concepts.

What's Next for Chase Sapphire Lounges
Chase has already signaled where its network is headed next, with a Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) location expected within the year. As the network grows, Chase appears to be leaning further into location-specific design rather than a single templated lounge experience across every city.
