Credit Card News and Deals Roundup: Week of February 27, 2023
As we roll into March with spring right around the corner, here's how to make your plastic (and metal) work for you!
Buying a Peloton = Up to 34,900 Chase Ultimate Rewards Points
In October 2020, Chase entered into a partnership with Peloton. At the time, if you used your Chase Sapphire or Sapphire Reserve to pay for your monthly Peloton membership, you’d be reimbursed in full. Though that deal is no longer available, Chase launched another promotion on February 1, 2023, for Peloton members who have a Sapphire or Sapphire Reserve card in their wallet. Members will receive bonus Ultimate Rewards points for eligible purchases. If you're in the market for a Peloton, this is a great opportunity to stockpile a bunch of Ultimate Rewards points.
Note: bonus points only apply to purchases that include Peloton equipment and/or accessories totaling $250 or more. Gift cards, apparel, and monthly membership fees are not eligible.

Gopuff is an on-demand delivery service that delivers thousands of products, usually within 30 minutes. Items you can buy include groceries, snacks, alcohol, and household items. Now through 12/31/23, eligible Chase cardholders can get $10 per month - per card - in statement credits toward Gopuff purchases of $10 or more. That can add up to $120 per card if you max out the benefit (well, we’re into March, so more like $100 per card per year).
- If you haven't used Gopuff before, start by visiting Gopuff.com to set up your account. You can also download the Gopuff app (Android or iOS) and register that way
- Once you've registered, shop as you normally would., Keep in mind that your order must be $10+ to receive the Chase $10 GoPuff credit
- Note: you don’t need to register anything with Chase. You just need to make sure you use your eligible Chase card to pay
- Note: there's a $2.95 delivery fee and you'll have to factor in a tip as well
If you have the Chase Freedom in your wallet, you’re earning 5% back at grocery stores this quarter, and Gopuff counts as an online grocery (alcohol doesn’t count though). H/T for this data point from givemebackmybrain·on this Reddit thread.
