Bilt Rent Day December 2023 Starts Early: Earn up to 16X

‍Bilt Rewards is an innovative rewards program that allows you to earn points by paying rent with a credit card, free from expensive service charges. As Black Friday approaches, Bilt Rewards is rolling out its monthly Rent Day and perks a bit ahead of time. We’re here for it! Starting 11/24/23, Bilt Members can earn additional rewards on both dining and shopping. 

Here are all the details.

10x at Bilt Dining partner restaurants

Bilt Dining is a collection of restaurants in select US cities where Bilt Members earn points when they pay for their meal with an eligible card in their Bilt Wallet (must be a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express card). You can find these restaurants in the “Dining” section of the Bilt app or on their website.

You will earn:

• 10x points when you eat at a Bilt Dining Restaurant - begins Black Friday, November 24th and runs through Friday, December 1st. All you have to do is pay with any eligible card linked to your Bilt Wallet at any participating Bilt Dining restaurant found in the Bilt Rewards app
• Bilt Cardholders will actually earn a whopping 16x at Bilt Dining restaurants on December 1st, thanks to this offer stacked with 2x on Rent Day!

Earn 2 points per dollar on all 1x spend categories (excluding rent) for a week

This bonus extends the typical Rent Day rewards boost from Bilt for one whole week. During this period, using your Bilt Mastercard between 11/24/23 and 12/1/23 will earn you 2x Bilt points.

• Keep in mind that there’s a cap on the 2x: once your spending exceeds $20,000, each dollar over the limit will revert to earning 1x again 
• There is one exception to the 2x: following the standard Bilt Rent Day protocol, your monthly rent payment only earns 1x between 11/24/23 and 12/1/23

Bonus dining opportunity in NYC

"The Ultimate Tasting Experience: Italy" is a five-course meal showcasing culinary treats from four of the Big Apple's favorite Italian restaurants: Saint Theo's, Di Fara, A Pasta Bar and La Baia. There are 40 spots available on 12/1/23 from 7 to 11 p.m. The event takes place in New York City at Lavan Chelsea.

• The event can be reserved in the Bilt app on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 11/25/23 at 12 pm EST. Bilt cardholders can book for themselves and up to one guest for $150, or 12,500 Bilt points per person

December Rent Day Promotions

We’ve seen these ones before, but they’re worth mentioning again! 

• Complimentary Soul Cycle Ride: this month, Soulcycle appointments for Rent Day open up on November 25 at 12pm Eastern time. When you book a Rent Day Ride, you'll automatically be entered to win rent for a month (up to $2,500). One rider per Rent Day Ride will win, so there's a higher chance of scoring free rent if you choose to exercise with Bilt on the first of each month

• Point Quest: Bilt hosts a virtual trivia game called Bilt Point Quest, which can be found in the Bilt Rewards app and played each Rent Day - so mark your calendars for 12/1/23. You can answer five questions for a chance to win a total of 150 points. If you answer all five questions correctly, you get the chance to answer a sixth question worth an additional 100 points

• Rent Free Game: Bilt offers a monthly game called Rent Free, styled after Family Feud. Participants submit their guesses to questions posed to Bilt members, aiming to identify the most popular answers. Accurately guessing three of the top responses enters you for a chance to have your rent covered for the month. The game show features special guests, and the more successfully they answer the month's questions, the greater the number of individuals who will have their rent paid—up to 10 recipients each month

• Earn double Bilt points on non-rent purchases: On the first day of each month, the Bilt Mastercard earns twice its normal rate for non-rent purchases. Here's what you'll earn: 6x on dining (regularly 3x) — and up to 11 points per dollar when using the Bilt Dining feature, 4x on travel (regularly 2x), and 2x on all other purchases (usually 1x)

Once you earn a total of 10,000 points across all spending categories during Rent Day (not counting the bonus 5x you'll earn via Bilt Dining), your card will revert back to the normal earning rates. Keep in mind: your rent payment earns 1x per dollar with the Bilt Mastercard. 

As always, don’t forget to use your Bilt Mastercard five times each statement period to earn points!
