Quarterly Roundup: Q2 is Around the Corner!

If you’ve got a Chase Freedom, Freedom Flex, Discover it, or Citi Dividend in your wallet, now is the time to activate your rotating categories for Q2 2023, which kicks off on April 1, 2023, and goes through June 30, 2023. Once you activate them with Chase, Discover, and Citi, we’ll remind you to use these cards at checkout to maximize your rewards.

Chase Freedom and Freedom Flex

• Earn 5% back on up to $1,500 in purchases at Amazon.com and Lowe’s from 4/1/23 through 6/30/23
• Note for Lowe’s: Lowe’s sells a lot of gift cards in-store, including Whole Foods, eBay gift cards, Shell gas, and more. Check out this comprehensive list from Frugal Reality

Discover it

• Earn 5% back on up to $1,500 in purchases at restaurants and wholesale clubs from 4/1/23 through 6/30/23
• Restaurant purchases include those made at merchants classified as full-service restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, fast-food locations, and restaurant delivery services
• Note for wholesale clubs: make sure that your Discover card is accepted
• Check with your Wholesale Clubs to make sure your Discover card is accepted. A workaround is buying a Costco Shop card online with your Discover card to earn the 5%. You can use that card in-store or at Costco gas stations. You can do the same thing with a Sams Club gift card - purchase it with your Discover card online and use it in-store

Citi Dividend

• Earn 5% at grocery stores and drug stores from 4/1/23 through 6/30/23
• Grocery Stores: in addition to groceries, you can easily purchase gift cards
• Drug Stores: you can easily purchase gift cards at drug stores too!
• Note: With Citi, instead of a $1,500 a quarter cap, you have a $6,000 annual cap. This means you can earn 5% back on up to $6,0000 this quarter, save the entire amount for a different upcoming quarter, or use part up each quarter.

Double your credit card rewards with a single click
