Chase Sapphire Reserve Turns 10: Up to $1,050 in Limited-Time Offers

The Chase Sapphire Reserve® turns 10 this year, and Chase is marking it with a run of limited-time partner offers worth up to $1,050, a larger monthly DoorDash credit, and a contest giving away 5.5 million Ultimate Rewards points.
Almost all of it is time-boxed, and the deadlines are not the same. Here is what changed and when each piece runs out.
What Chase Announced
Three separate things, aimed at existing cardholders rather than new applicants:
- Five limited-time partner offers with IHG, JSX, World of Hyatt, SIXT and Wander, worth up to $1,050 combined.
- A bigger DoorDash credit, going from $5 to $15 a month starting October 1, 2026.
- A points contest, with a 5.5 million point grand prize.
Every partner offer has to be activated before you pay, and you have to pay with the Sapphire Reserve. Activation is not automatic, and an unactivated offer is simply a full-price booking.
The Five Partner Offers
Each one is structured as spend-this, get-this-back as a statement credit. The minimum spend is the part worth checking before you book, because none of these trigger on a smaller purchase.
- IHG Hotels & Resorts: $125 back on $500 or more on an eligible US stay. Activate and pay by October 16, 2026.
- JSX: up to $200 back on $200 or more with the semi-private carrier. Activate and pay by December 14, 2026.
- World of Hyatt: $250 back on $1,000 or more at Miraval and Alila properties in the US. Through December 14, 2026.
- SIXT: $125 back on $500 or more on a premium car rental. Through December 14, 2026.
- Wander: $350 back on $1,500 or more on a vacation home. Through December 14, 2026.
The IHG offer has the earliest deadline and the most conditions attached. It has to be booked directly with IHG, so it will not work through the Chase Travel portal, which also means it does not stack with the card's hotel credit for portal bookings. It does sit alongside the complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status the card carries, so a qualifying stay can earn the statement credit and a room upgrade at the same time.
The JSX offer is the odd one out in a good way. Because it reimburses up to $200 on a $200 spend, a fare priced just above the threshold costs very little once the credit posts. JSX flies a limited route map out of private terminals, so whether it is useful depends entirely on where you live.

Activate every offer you might plausibly use now, even the ones you are unsure about. Activation is free and takes seconds, but an offer activated after you have already paid does not apply retroactively. Kudos will track your credits and benefits automatically so you don't lose out on any savings.
The DoorDash Credit Triples
Starting October 1, 2026, the $5 monthly DoorDash credit becomes $15 a month, and it runs through the end of 2029. The two existing $10 monthly credits for non-restaurant orders are unchanged, which puts the card at $35 a month, or $420 a year, in DoorDash credits.
You need to be enrolled in DashPass to get them. DashPass is complimentary for Sapphire Reserve cardholders for at least 12 months when activated by December 31, 2027.
The honest caveat is that the two $10 credits only apply to grocery and retail orders, so they are harder to use than the headline total suggests. The $15 is the one that actually covers a normal restaurant delivery. We covered how to keep all three straight in a separate post.
Five Offers, Four Deadlines
This is where these promotions usually go wrong. There are now five one-time offers with two different end dates, a monthly DoorDash credit that resets and disappears, two other monthly credits with narrower rules, a DashPass activation deadline in 2027, and elite status that has to be linked before it does anything. Chase does not total any of it up for you, and nothing tells you when a credit is about to reset unused.
That is the problem the Kudos Benefits Tracker exists for. Connect your Sapphire Reserve and it lists every credit tied to the card in one place, matches your actual spending against them, and shows what has been used, what is still sitting there, and what resets at the end of the month. Sort by expiration date and the October 16 IHG deadline stops being something you have to remember on your own.
The 5.5 Million Point Contest
Through November 6, 2026, cardmembers can post about their favorite trip taken since 2016 for a chance at 5.5 million Ultimate Rewards points. Chase picks 10 finalists, those go to a public vote, and the winner takes the grand prize. The other nine finalists get 500,000 points each.
Even at a conservative 1.5 cents per point, 5.5 million points is somewhere north of $80,000 in travel. The odds are what you would expect from a public contest, so treat it as a lottery ticket rather than a plan. Full rules are on Chase's contest page.
The Bottom Line
The $1,050 headline is real but it is not free money. Capturing all of it means spending roughly $3,700 across five specific brands, and it is only worth doing for the ones you were going to book anyway. For most cardholders the DoorDash increase is the change that actually matters, because it repeats every month and requires no trip.
None of it counts if it goes unused, which is the recurring problem with a $795 annual fee built out of a dozen separate credits. Activate what you will realistically use, note the October 16 IHG date, and let something else keep track of the rest.
