Citi is running a 25% transfer bonus to Leading Hotels of the World through September 19, 2026. The standard rate of 1,000 ThankYou points for 200 Leaders Club points climbs to 1,000 for 250. Which Citi card you carry decides whether you actually get that rate.
The Bonus Details
Leaders Club is the loyalty program for The Leading Hotels of the World, a collection of independent luxury hotels. Citi added it as a transfer partner in October 2023, and it is still the newest name on Citi's partner list.
- Standard rate: 1,000 ThankYou points converts to 200 Leaders Club points.
- With the bonus: 1,000 ThankYou points converts to 250 Leaders Club points.
- Deadline: transfers need to post by September 19, 2026.
- Reduced ratio: Citi cards outside the premium tier convert at 1,000 to 175, bonus included.
Your Card Decides Your Rate
The full transfer ratio is limited to three cards: the Citi Strata Elite℠ Card, the Citi Strata Premier Card, and the legacy Citi Prestige Card, which is closed to new applicants. Hold anything else that earns ThankYou points, including Citi Strata and Citi Custom Cash, and your transfers land at the lower rate.
That gap is wide enough to change the answer. Check which card your ThankYou points sit under before you start a transfer, because points pooled from a lower tier card still move at the lower ratio.
Where This Bonus Ranks
Even at the boosted rate, this bonus only brings Citi level with what American Express offers to Leaders Club year round. If you were already planning a Leading Hotels stay and you hold a card that unlocks the full ratio, the deadline gives you a reason to move now. If you were not, there is no rush. Citi has run this same 25% bonus repeatedly, including earlier in 2026 and again in 2025, so skipping it carries little risk. Transfers are irreversible, so confirm your dates are bookable in Leaders Club points before you send anything across.
